.75 lb butter
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups bread flour
.5 tsp salt
1 lb white raisins
1 lb cherries (I assume preserved or candied)
1 lb pineapple (same as cherries)
.5 lb pecans
1 cup pineapple juice
Steep fruits in juice overnight
Cream butter well, add sugar, .5 cup at a time + cream again
Add eggs 2 at a time, beat again
Sift flour + salt, fold into batter, stir in fruits and nuts.
275 - 3.5 hours
Edited a bit for clarity, hope I got this right.

Tehachapi Apple Cake
2 Cups white or brown sugar
1 Cup chopped nuts. I like pecans, but walnuts would work too. Optional!
2 Cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 Cup oil (substitute apple sauce for some if desired)
2 eggs
5 Cups diced apples (peeled and cored)
Beat eggs and oil, and stir in apples. Sift/mix dry ingredients together. Add to remaining ingredients. Pour into four greased, floured 3 1/2" by 5 1/2" foil pans, or muffin tins. Bake at 350 for one hour
